As a qualified customer / sales strategist with a BTech Degree in Marketing, she established her career in FMCG under food and beverages industry for over 25 years up to senior management—managing national retail accounts in a couple of multinational corporates. She had owned three Fish and Chips fast-food franchises through Taste Holdings between 2013 and 2015. She exited the business due to persistent socio-economic challenges like electricity load-shedding.
She is a founder and CEO of an Applied Knowledge & Growth Agency, Cynosure Lifestyle Designs established since 2013 where she has been a customer development and sales strategist for corporates, a business coach and training facilitator of many SMMEs, this started as a side-hustle on part-time bases. She’s since obtained a professional business coaching certificate and completed her skills development facilitator training. Looking at the need of developing new business ventures, she decided to transition into entrepreneurship full-time since September 2021. She and her busband own properties for private student accommodation in accredited by UKZN Howard College.
Despite her ongoing career as a businesswoman, she is an author. Her passion for parenting brought forth her invigorating debut book titled ORDAINED PARENTS: POWER TOOLS FOR PURPOSEFUL PARENTING published in July 2018. She continued to publish her second book in Dec 2020, titled A SOUND SYSTEM OF A MARRIAGE LANGUAGE a self-help book on relationships and communication. In 2024 she published an isiZulu Christian devotional book for parents titled MINA NENDLU YAMI. An entrepreneur business inspirational book will be published in mid-2025 titled THERE'S NO TELLING - FIFTY MIND BATTLES TO WIN ON BUSINESS START-UP. She has graced corporate podiums like Spar KZN DC, Ithala, Eskom, eThekwini Municipality, ADT and many more organisations as she delivers business lectures, empowerment or inspirational speeches.
She continues to study Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with Entrepreneurship elective, to enable her to support her clients with credibility, relatability, autonomy, collaboration and keenness.
